'Gratitude connects you to light, connects you to a higher energy, an effulgence that bathes you in love. It places you in a very quiet state of inner surrender. In the instant of pure gratitude, it's a thought-free space, you feel more light & love. Gratitude is a vehicle of supreme silence. There are layers, degrees of its power: in a higher form, you are overwhelmed with that feeling of thankfulness, overwhelmed with a grateful heart that feels that without whatever you are grateful for, you could not even exist. All spirituality can be distilled down to this one point :Union with the highest. All of the other goals, descriptions are just stepping stones to this.' :Archangel Michael
