'Suffering/trauma cracks open the incrustation of thinking of oneself as a number, as a theme, realizing oneself as the space that all things are animated by, enlivened by.' :G
'Let the past die, embrace the present, go to the formless Source, incubate there with a new image & let consciousness organize the details, actualize. Yet the actuality is the dream & the reality is the unmanifest formless. The dream is transient, ephemeral, evanescent, ungraspable - wake up from the dream & you are an infinite Creator.' :DC
'It takes many a long time to come up out of the darkness of our feelings of unworthiness, unlovableness. When you can accept that you are lovable, then the fear starts to dissolve : it's allowing your own beauty, the beauty of your soul which is behind your personality. You just observe the sadness, the loneliness, the pain. the separateness: just watch it & allow it. Don't be fierce about & don't feel deprived about it - just notice its a passing show, a place your mind is grabbing: it's a model you have of who you think you are & who everybody else is - that's exactly what's causing your suffering at this moment, is your own thought forms . That's finally why you're driven to work on your mind, to quiet your mind. You see the way your personality(which is rooted in fear & vulnerability) is really just a series of thoughts that you keep investing.' :RD
